Qualifications for an Agent
Be at least 18 years old
Be a U.S. citizen or a lawfully admitted alien
Meet TREC’s qualifications for honesty, trustworthiness, and integrity
(Consider requesting a Fitness Determination Form before applying for the license if you have any criminal offenses, unpaid judgments, had discipline taken against a professional or occupational license, or have performed unlicensed activity.)Complete an approved 180 hours of Texas real estate prelicense education
